A wider composition than The Companions — two rose quartz parrots on either side of an amethyst geode, each angled slightly inward as though drawn to each other but separated by the crystal between them. The space between the birds is as important as the birds themselves.
The amethyst geode sits on a blue-banded agate slab — one of Fabiano's signature base choices, selected because the concentric rings in the agate echo the layered growth patterns inside the geode.
"The best sculptures have space in them. The space is where the viewer puts their own story."
— FABIANO · MINAS GERAIS, BRAZIL
