Two blue quartz macaws flank an amethyst cathedral with a deep cave opening that reveals layer upon layer of crystal growth. The cathedral itself is among the largest in the collection — its mouth wide enough to peer inside and see where the amethyst crystals become darker and more densely packed toward the center.
The birds carry price stickers visible in the studio photograph — a reminder that these are not art prints but physical, acquirable objects. The blue quartz has a subtly different character from sodalite: lighter, more translucent, with a coolness that Fabiano compares to 'stone made from sky.'
"The cave is the real piece. The birds are just there to tell you — look inside."
