Two clear quartz parrots — their bodies nearly transparent — perch atop an amethyst cathedral geode of remarkable scale. The birds wear crowns of natural amethyst crystal that Fabiano left uncarved, growing directly from the top of each head as though the birds themselves are still emerging from the earth.
The cathedral base is a single geode split to reveal two chambers of deep violet crystals. The clear quartz bodies of the birds act as prisms — casting faint rainbows across the amethyst surface when sunlight strikes them at the right angle.
"Clear quartz is honest. It hides nothing. These birds are made of light."
